Vol. 20 No. 2 (2025) of At-Ta’dib: Journal of Pesantren Education presents ten scholarly articles authored by 29 researchers affiliated with institutions across four countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and India. Indonesian affiliations span five provinces and regions: East Java, West Java, Riau, Maluku, and Jakarta. This issue explores pesantren modernization, holistic Islamic education, teacher professional development, curriculum implementation, language learning, Arabic assessment, scientific learning, character formation, self-directed learning, and neuropedagogy. Through diverse research approaches, these contributions examine how Islamic educational values can be integrated with contemporary theories and practices to strengthen the relevance and development of pesantren education.
