The Role of Religion in Educational Science; An Analysis toward the Modern Science

Discourse of sains (science) in the Islamic intellectual tradition has actually been carried out by Muslim scientists. Various scientific experiments were carried out by scientists in order to find signs of God’s greatness in His creation. Over the past decade or so, Muslim scientists have been trying to rethink the Islamic identity called ‘Islamic Science’. It was written in a new scientist article that the debate that has been going on all over the world on this issue, and it was suggested to rediscover Islamic Science which is one of the most difficult but most important intellectual tasks, this is what scientists, intellectuals, philosophers do and Muslim scientists. The problem of science has been studied by Muslim scholars for more than a thousand years until Western scholars have benefited greatly from reading the abundant literature on science However, Modern science today less of value and less of right education concerning to identify what science really are. This lackness of value and education in modern science grafts then undermines the basic values of Islam as opposed to historical awareness in the Islamic ummah. This paper tries to analyze the basic foundations of Islamic science which are starting to be re-examined. With a descriptive and analysis approach, the reseacher tries to explore the history of how the educational value of Islamic never be apart to science.
