Vol. 16 No. 1 (2021) of At-Ta’dib: Journal of Pesantren Education presents ten articles authored by 19 researchers, all affiliated with institutions in one country: Indonesia. Their affiliations represent five provinces: East Java, the Special Region of Yogyakarta, West Java, Jakarta, and Bengkulu. This issue examines prophetic educational exemplarity, moral values in the Qur’an, active learning strategies, instructional media design, child identity education, teachers’ hidden competencies, scientific integration in Islamic higher education, educational service quality, religious values formation, and science-religion integration. Collectively, these studies highlight approaches to strengthening Islamic educational thought, teaching practices, institutional development, and character formation in contexts.
