This issue presents a curated collection of empirical and conceptual studies advancing contemporary discourse on Islamic boarding school (pesantren) education. The contributions engage critical intersections of curriculum integration, fiqh pedagogy, character formation, linguistic instruction, digital spirituality, and institutional transformation. The volume highlights innovative frameworks such as Fogarty-based curriculum integration in Pondok Modern, cross-madhhab fiqh instructional design within KMI systems, and Panca Jiwa as a moral ecosystem for character development. It further explores phenomenological and ethnographic insights into religious habituation, digital asceticism, and value internalization among santri, alongside quantitative analysis of HR flexibility and nafs al-muṭma’innah.
